If you think of a community as being a body, not unlike our own physical body, then it is governed by the local executive office like the mayors office. The mayors office is the commands the community just as the brain commands the body. However, The body doesn't always listen to the brain unfortunately.
The blood can be thought of as the life force of a body. This equates to the monetary system a community has in regulating independent businesses its "Limbs" if you will within the body of the community.
The work force pumping the blood(money) is one of the most important aspects. These can be thoguht of the organs that drive interactions within the body.
this complex system has to be in tune, if one organ fails, then the limb malfunctions, which in turn disrupts the body, or the community. This disruption if left to manifest can become a disease. When looking at a community in this way, you can get the feeling of why it is important to balance all aspects thoroughly.
Memphis is a community that i see as a body. It is dependent on all of its different limbs to function properly. These limbs in turn depend on the organs to function right. these organs depend on the blood. and the blood is what can enrich or corrupt the body.
My topic is somewhat of a diagnosis of the problems Memphis faces as a body, and what can be done to fix them. However the impracticality of actually accomplishing these proposals are very slim, it does not discourage the urgency i have to at least identify them in a way that can be helpful to get others to see the problems that we Memphis face as a join unit. because the fact of the matter is, limbs don't work by themselves.

my thoughts on Martin Luther King Jr letter from Birmingham ham jail
Martin Luther King Jr wrote his letter with a clear and we'll crafted structure. He argued many things in his letter. His opening thesis addressed what he felt was a major issue . He said he wanted to answer allegations aimed towards him in a patient and reasonable way. I think there is a strong sense of humility and a hint of genuine genius work in his letter. he exceptionally crafted a masterpiece of words, infused with educational and moral values in which I think is very rare to find in today's world. In a time at which racial prejudices and discrimination was flaring with scounding intisity, Martin Luther King Jr stood bravely in the face of adversity and fought for his beliefs with unbreakable conviction. I believe that this letter insignifies king's moral stance, and just proves his skillfull mental capabilities as an
artisan of writing.

my topic of choice
My topic of choice is the idea of real improvement to the Memphis environment. I do not see why real change cannot come to be. I cannot see why real improvement is viewed as a impossible achievement. In fact the reason why improvement tends not to happen is because people do not give it a second thought. in my report, i will list the the problems i aim to fix. i will list the solutions to these problems. i will list why the solutions need to be chasnged. i will give evidence of the problems and how they have been adressed in other cities compared to memphis. i will present the situation rhetorically in that it will
be changeable through writing, discussed in relation to appropriate ways to be fixed, and the probability of how it will be . I will use outside sources to back up my claims and present this data intelligently and with sound conviction in what i believe are the fundamental keys to overall improvement. This report will have a annotated bibliography to accompany it. all documentation will be properly dated and organized in a way that just makes sense.

College life has its own language, wouldn't you say
When i think of a community that i can identify with, i think youth...but more specifically i think college kids. I think we have our own technical language fluttered with course talk and tuition ramblings that you just don't find in any other ordinary day scenarios. We branch out from high school students in that we are not quite as limited as they are, but in no facet of the word are we limetless. Yes it is because we are held back by our sheer lack of real world experience and our youthful faces that we probably dont indentify with older people. This kind of puts us in this wierd spot between youth and adulthood that you just dont find anywhere else.
Yes if it was any discourse community that comes to mind when i think of where i am in my life right now, it would definitely have to be the college community.
